Annual Christmas Dinner

Merry everything, happy always! Come celebrate the holidays with us!

Please join us for an evening of merriment, drinks, and dinner on Thursday, December 14th at Megu Restaurant in Manhattan. Nils Noren, a world renowned chef and culinary educator, has prepared a traditional Nordic Christmas menu which will include a pre-drink glögg and an open bar. 

We have also invited two Finnish companies, Metsä Board and Naava, to give their insights about the future of Finland's forest industry.

Metsä Group is a forerunner in sustainable bioeconomy and has a global presence. It was founded in 1947 and employs over 11,000 people worldwide. The most recent initiative launched by Metsä Group is the new Äänekoski bioproduct mill in Finland. The mill is the largest investment in the history of the forest industry in Finland. Metsä Board, a subsidiary of Metsä Group, is a leading European producer of premium fresh fibre paperboards. In the Americas, Metsӓ Board continues to be a focus area for future growth in the industry.

Naava is among the global leaders in biological air purification and green wall products that are based on NASA technology. It was selected as the hottest startup in Helsinki by Wired. Today, Naava has connected green walls to circulate and purify indoor air for more than 300 companies. Their vision is that by 2025, a billion people will be able to choose to breathe Nordic forest air, everyday, everywhere.
