Finnish Designers Participated in a Networking Event at the Consulate General of Lithuania

On 22nd of May the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of bringing together two Finnish entrepreneurs, Maiju Uski from STUDIO Maiju Uski and Heikki Karppinen from Durat, with Baltic designers at a networking event held at the Consulate General of Lithuania in collaboration with the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce.

The Finnish desingers were presenting their designs at the 2018 International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York and we took them with us to network with Baltic designers and potential future customers. Maiju Uski was presenting her design PALAT, a serving trolley and tableware items designed to serve different actions of cooking and serving. Heikki Karppinen showcased his product Durat, a unique, sustainable solid surface material which contains recycled post industrial plastics and is 100% recyclable.
