Leadership Fireside Chat
Event date: 10th of September 2026
What a fantastic morning for the Young Professionals at our member SEB offices.
Our own Young Professionals Lead, Nicole Ehrnrooth, hosted an insightful fireside chat together with one of the U.S. leading voices on leadership, Admiral James A. Winnefeld Jr.
The conversation flowed around lessons from his career on leadership, how to think around decision-making and taking risks. The Admiral gave concrete tips on how to navigate change in a world with AI, how to decide when your gut and data disagree, and what worries and excites him with where the world is heading.
One thing became clear; the people, their energy, and their ambition who sat in the room, are a group of incredibly inspiring and talented group of people about to lead the next generation of Finnish-American businesses in New York and globally.
A special thank you to SEB and their whole crew who took such excellent care of everyone participating, and to our board member Janna Salokangas for her mentorship.
